Njoki Kamau, Executive Board Member

Njoki Kamau, is a woman human rights defender, working in the education sector.

Njoki started her activism in the backdrop of excessive state violence and forced evictions in informal settlements, where she was living in.

In 1996 she joined national movements for the Release of Political Prisoners and human rights. Njoki has since been at the forefront in talking truth to power. She is a community mobiliser and educator in civic rights.
